O.R.G like most local residents feel very let down by the decision to allow the land next to the Queslett Nature Reserve be built on.
We believe if those who appear to have put the interests of the developers before local residents first had backed our local Councillors we could have at least got the Planning Committee on side. OK we may have lost the battle on appeal but at least we could have had a fighting chance.
We felt badly let down by those who try to score cheap political points and let down local residents over this issue. They need to learn to be big enough to put residents before politics.

376 Bus route
What has happened to the 376 bus route is a disgrace. The alterations made y the bus companies have left many elderly residents literally left stranded.

Bureaucracy no thanks
Bureaucracy is a problem for all organisations, the amount Governments and other authorities create can hardly be believed. This is one of the reasons ORG have stayed independent of organisations like BANF and B.Cen in the past. We firmly believe that residents groups should work with Councils and so on but not be organised and controlled by them.
