OUR ROADS NEED DOING NOW

ORA has found out that Councillor Len Gregory the Cabinet member responsible for our streets, has made a flying visit to our area again. Lets hope this time as the man in charge he gets something done about the state of our road surfaces particularly those made of concrete, such as Dunedin Road and Templeton Road.
Let us also hope he has looked at a number of road which need traffic calming, as we have informed his department so many times.
What we need is action not words this time. We will keep you posted.
To let us know your views post your comments on this blog or ring 464 1869 and leave a message for the ORA.

TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT SAY NO TO GREENHOL TRAFFIC LIGHTS

The Council Transportation department have now yet again said no to our pleas for traffic lights to be placed at the Greenholm Road, Aldridge Road junction.
ORA feel this is a disgrace, how many more accidents will it take before they put human being before simple cost.
As far as we are concerned enough is enough, any accident at this junction from now on must be put at the door of the Birmingham City Council.
WE would also like to thank residents and Councillors who have supported us over this issue.
