The ORG are all member of the Oscott Ward Advisory Board and were pleased to give our opinion when it came to allocating funding at the last meeting of the board.
All those who took part in this meeting were keen to use some of the 16 thousand ponds which was available for funding, to schemes for the elderly.
Age Concern now have funding Approx 10 thousand pounds for their befriending. Handy man and Gardening projects. The Perry Barr Elderly residents Forum also received 500 pounds.
Those present at the meeting were Councillor Linnecor (Chair). Councillor Dring, Representatives from Age Concern the Police. ORA, OERG, ODG, NPI, N.W and local Neighborhood Forums.Council officers were also there to offer advice.
